Since beginning my training in November, I have noticed significant improvement in my balance, overall strength, and speed on the volleyball court. Being a defensive specialist, I have also noticed myself playing more balls than I would not have gotten to before I started my training. My vertical jump has increased several times to a new personal record as well. Whether we're "building character" during endurance drills or jumping really big hurdles, I always feel like I take away something from each workout. Clarissa is an excellent trainer and motivator. "Catie trained with Clarissa for five weeks with a program geared specifically for volleyball. Catie's vertical increased by 3 inches. More importantly, the vertical training techniques used were always incorporated using correct approach and blocking form, not just a pure vertical leap. Also, Catie trained using a harness system that teaches how to use your torque, hips and shoulders to gain more power hitting. We were very impressed with how specific it is to the overall volleyball player. We will definitely train again with Clarissa in the future."

"In April 2009, our 11 year old daughter, Gabby, started performance training with Matt 2x a week and we noticed a significant increase in her overall conditioning and athleticism. After seeing Gabby's results, our then 8 year old son Wyatt started training with Matt initially 1x week and then quickly moved up to 2x a week. Not only has Matt improved both kids’ general physical performance but has also corrected both kids' running mechanics to make them both more efficient and explosive sprinters. In the fall of 2009, Gabby joined Clarissa 1x a week for volleyball specific training. By working out with each trainer once a week, she has increased her vertical, broad, and approach jumps while also continuing to improve her overall strength and fitness. Gabby has enjoyed seeing her hard work in training translate into improved performance in volleyball and soccer – she hates to miss a session for any reason! Wyatt enjoys training with Matt because he not only works Wyatt hard with general strength activities but mixes in fun, age-appropriate conditioning activities including with hand/eye coordination drills as well as speed work. Matt pushes Wyatt to stay focused and to give his best at every training session all of which have helped Wyatt play football, basketball and baseball at a higher level. In October 2009, my husband Hunter and I started training with Matt 2x a week. I had recently had my knee replaced and was looking for something to get me back into shape. Matt has provided us both an opportunity to increase our overall conditioning while also helping to manage our weight. Matt's high intensity classes have helped us to improve our personal workouts throughout the rest of the week as well. We look forward to seeing Matt 2x week first thing in the morning to hear him telling us to get our “old butts” in gear! No matter how hard the workouts are – we can't wait to get back for our next class. "Our family is becoming addicted to Fury Performance Training! My daughter was one of the first volleyball girls to start there last summer – first with Matt and now Clarissa. She has improved her vertical jump significantly and has become an all around stronger player, while avoiding any major injuries. In fact, I believe the training at FPT has helped her avoid any injuries throughout school volleyball and basketball seasons as well as club volleyball season. Then, last fall, I started training with a couple of other "old folks" two mornings per week. I hate to admit it but I was pretty out of shape when I started. Since then, I have dropped a few pounds, built some muscle definition in my arms and legs, and my clothes fit sooooo much better! I still have a ways to go but I already feel so much stronger and healthier than a few months ago. Matt has been great about working around all of my "old lady" aches but yet pushing me to accomplish way more than I ever thought I could. Just recently, my 12 yr old son has started training with Matt as well.
